   All TBD are made from scratch, but in most cases I begin with a “blank” that provides the foundation of the tooth. Once the blank has been fitted, the material is carved into shape using the natural tooth that is being covered as a guide. It is then buffed to a high gloss so your tongue will never know the difference.

   Until you bite it. Most people bite themselves pretty hard at least once. I consider it part of the process in learning how to function while wearing your TBD.

   As natural as the final product feels, You still have. toget used to larger teeth in your mouth.

   Your TBD are created using the finest dental acrylics on the market. Dental acrylic is preferable to other materials such as composites due to its ability to absorb stress, its ease of repair should the need arise, and the fact that they are soft enough not to wear away your enamel after repeated wear or grinding on opposing teeth. Make no mistake, however; they are neither flexible nor soft, and they are more than strong enough to survive daily wear for years.

   From the very beginning, I developed my own proprietary colour blends that span the entire spectrum of people’s natural teeth, so you can be sure that your TBD will blend seamlessly with the rest of your mouth.

 TBD fittings can be performed either in person in my studio, on Fang Tour, or via mail order. Mail order is available internationally. In person appointments require about an hour of time per pair, and you will leave our appointment with your TBD. Mail order ranges from 2-8 weeks depending on location being served and seasonal considerations.

   TBD are held on by a combination of suction and the natural topography of your mouth, most specifically by latching on to the inter-proximal surfaces between your teeth. For this to occur, your fitting must me perfect. This is not an issue for in-person fittings, but mail order fittings do require special attention to the quality of mould used.     Your TBD are designed to be worn whenever you feel like it.  They are temporary caps that should be removed at meal times and during sleep, but the rest of the time is up to you.

     They are easy to apply and remove, but stay firmly put once inserted.

   Fangs and other teeth are generally individual pieces that allow you to upgrade and Mix And Match at will.  Go big or go small, you can style up or style down depending on your mood.

   Tusks and some custom work may be one piece, but the same rules apply.

 All of my work can be considered “custom” as it is designed and manufactured for each individual client, but there are many standard styles or looks that people commonly request.

   If you wish for something more elaborate than you find featured on this website, I am happy to help you create something unique.  Many clients prefer to Mix And Match, but some have very specific visions that i do my uttmost to help them realize.

   As I am prone to say, the only limitations you have are your imagination and practical physics. Not every mouth is perfect, but no mouth is impossible.
